Festive Period Over!!

With the festive period just now a memory, it was back to work with a bang, fitting a bespoke wardrobe with sliding barn doors. The top section was clad in a T&G style, with the sliding doors revealing hanging space, adjustable shelving and finished off with interior motion sensor lighting. A good way to start the New Year.

Hand Painted Kitchen

This bespoke kitchen was made in solid beech and polar. Hand painted to give it a more traditional feel. Solid timber drawers with dovetails. The doors were hung on solid brass hinges. White stone worktops complimented the deep red cabinetry. This kitchen was featured in the October edition of House & Garden.

Solid maple drawer fronts with oak burr veneered panels. The drawer boxes are solid timber, made from either Tulipwood, Oak, Beech or Walnut.

Jewellery drawers

This was a chest of drawers attached to a wardrobe with a difference! Not only a beautiful contrast between the maple and oak burr panels, but the top drawer incorporated ring trays and a middle section for watches. The drawer box was made in walnut with dovetails to add to the luxury.

Oak desk & Staircase

He, we had a challenge of incorporating an office area into a small cottage, space was at a premium. The solution was a solid oak desk under the stairs. We also replaced the spindles and handrail in solid oak, plus added a solid oak post to replace the original rotten pine one.

2 freestanding painted cabinets. Both made from solid tulipwood and MDF. Right hand cabinet having filing drawers at the base where as the left hand cabinet just had traditional doors. The idea being to blend in an office area into a character lounge.

Thuya Burr veneered box with Stackers trays

The box has uses Thuya burr veneer with a maple and walnut edging.

The interior is clad with English elm, with a luxurious velvet cloth effect finish. There are two trays supplied by stackers. These boxes range from £345.00 to £395.00 and are made to order although we do usually have a few available for immediate delivery. Please contact us for further details

Office with painted cupboard and Oak burr desk

This office consisted of a cabinet with drawers, file drawers x 2, and cupboard. Solid oak 30mm top. The desk was made from solid character English oak, with oak burr veneered panels. The top is 30mm solid maple. The cupboards at the back are birds eye maple doors and drawer fronts with walnut inlay.

Solid Elm kitchen Dresser

This elm dresser was make from English Elm that had been cut down by the client over 40 years ago during the onset of Dutch elm disease. The timber was beautifully air seasoned and was great to work with.
